For instance, why did the person who selected the various improvements choose them? By not recording our modern history as things are done, we tend to lose it. Maybe even just a webpage journaling what is happening and why.chris goblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12747964476242223294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983300.post-9802254044096726552009-08-14T22:24:27.547-06:002009-08-14T22:24:27.547-06:00I also wouldn't mind seeing a bit of history d...I also wouldn't mind seeing a bit of history describing the old road into the park. The trail that leads in front of Bellevue may be a nice place for this. For instance, being able to follow the old trail by looking for thistle tracks.

I also think something really needs to be placed in the area describing the old travois tracks leading to the south kootenay pass. I know Devil's tower has a climbing exhibit. Similar Lake Louise has now put up some information about climbers. I wonder if at one of the pullouts a little bit of information about scrambling and the history of some of the first ascents of some of the prominent peaks would make sense?chris goblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12747964476242223294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8983300.post-7012368407730721742009-08-14T22:20:37.625-06:002009-08-14T22:20:37.625-06:00I would love to see them get rid of the pilon in t...I would love to see them get rid of the pilon in the bridge going to the Church camp. It is a total log trap and makes kayaking Blakiston creek a bit more unpredictable. However the money to do this really wouldn't be worth it.

I would also love to see a sign or two on the roadway indicating that slow drivers should use the pullouts to let people pass.chris goblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12747964476242223294noreply@blogger.com
