I am currently trying to play with a recent coments feature. So far it isn't working terribly well. Expect some time before it gets up and working. Once it is out I will also start sending out invites for other contributors.

I think I have finally figured out a good comment generator. After playing around with haloscan, I figured I would use ebeneezer orthodoxy's blogger hack. This way we can get a recent comment genrator (of sorts), and get the comments integrated into the posts. As good as pop up windows are for enabling easy comment posts, I still prefer to see embedded comments.
The only down side of this last change, is that the previous comments have been lost. Also, this hack has problems with Safari. It will cause the page to reload continuosly. If this happens, simply stop loading the page after the first load. You can also use IE, or firefox as a browser.
I will be playing around with the latter browsers to see how things work. It will probably take me a week or so to get it going.

I guess the hack also prevents people from seeing the user ID. I will play around with that, as I remember reading something on how to get around this bug.

Well I finally found the bug that was hiding the comments. Things should be fixed now.
