Waterton Web Cam
UPDATE - See Waterton Lakes Lodge's Webcam here
With the Glacier web cam down now, I thought I would try and replicate as best as I can. Since I don't have a high speed hook up in the park, setting up a normal web cam may not be too reasonable for me. Instead, i figure I will try and snap a quick picutre from my car during my commute. Hopefully as high speed wireless is slated to be coming to the area late this fall, I may be able to work on getting a web cam set up at my house. Until then, check the sidebar image.

We keep getting lots of hits of people looking for web cams for waterton. Waterton doesn't have a webcam however the goat haunt web cam is at the south end of Waterton lake and clearly shows views of the weather in waterton townsite.
Also if you are looking to find out what the weather is like in Waterton Park, the St. Mary's web cam has almost identical weather to Waterton.

Hope that helps!
Got a temp web cam up. I am using my day-to-day machine. I didn't bring the old desktop down due to power consumption costs and the frequent power outages that would put it off line.
Will try things out this weekend -Feb 21, 2011.
The webcam page is here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3662312/Webcamwaterton/camhistory.html
Images are on the sidebar. Not the best of views....
Had to update the webcam feed - March 21 2011. Here is the new link to the webcam

This is also on the sidebar. View is to the north east, looking at the prince of whales hotel. The Townsite administration office is in the picture. The flag gives a good indication of wind speed. If you can't see the hill in the background, things are really stormy.
Waterton is my favorite place. Waterton Lakes national park, Alberta in Canada to enjoy a rugged natural beauty you won't see anywhere else in this world.
