Changes In The Park

Well if you venture downtown this year you will see some changes. The Akamina gifts building has undergone a major reno. They added quite a bit to the size, changed the windows quite a bit and added staff accommodations up top.

Wendy from Rod and Wendy's and Zum's has purchased Frank's. She is going to be running it as a steakhouse. I suspect it will quickly end up being the place to go. She is a very strong business women. Plus the only real competition now is the Lodge, and their restaurant is too hard to find, and always suffers from staffing and training issues. The Bayshore will have its nice views, but tends to be more of a draw for one time visits by tourists.

The pizza place has suffered a bit from their move to the old Kentucky Fried chicken building.
