Looks like this Saturday (June 21) is going to be a Drywood climbing day. So far it looks like Blair, Anne, Chris, and perhaps Dave will be coming. Anyone else is free to join in. We are meeting Blair at the gates at 8:00am and will be climbing at the lower tier.

This is a post from Brad. I went skiing last sunday at Divide mountain, just south of St mary's. It was very good. This weekend we went skiing at Siyeh pass. We hiked from the Jackson pull out on the going to the sun road to the pass. Hiking on hard packed snow about 2/3 of the way. We skied 3 different small snow patches in that valley. It was lots of fun. I can wait for Logan's pass to open It looks so good, as for Divide mountain and Siyeh pass they are tapped out. In a week there will not be much snow left there to ski.

Nice to hear about the skiing Brad. I hope Devil's tower was nice too. Blair and I are going down there for the long weekend.

The weather cleared up Sunday afternoon, and Anne and I went up Buchannon gardens. It was gorgeous. The old bridge is still there with the rope stabilizer. The trail is fairly faint, but after 15 years, I was surprised I could still see it. THe climbing on Viking Press was spectacular. It has to be the nicest, most technical route around the south. Having climbed a few of the classics at Drywood the day before, that says something. Even Anne, who hates slabs, loved the route.
