Found Gear!
Hey everyone Found Gear!
I was out on the Bear's Hump on Sunday and found
2 cams on the ledge above the first tier of climbs.
They are the old style Camalots - 0.5 and 0.75, marked
with yellow, and attached to a small yellow s.chamonix
biner.
If you could ask around or maybe post it on the
Waterton Blog, I'm sure the owners would like em back.
Later,
Aaron

Willis,
Hi there. Those cams may be mine -- as I did a climb with Mark last year where he dropped a few cams, and we couldn't find them when we came down - despite hunting around quite a bit. I suspect they might be mine if:
- the yellow marking is a single bar of 'paint,' on both sides of the cam, right near the 'top' of the cam where the cable clips to the biner,
- the small biner is one of those small "Simond" accessory biners (that's what I use to rack my gear), and
- if they were found on the big ledge somewhere below the start of lichen line. Mark was about 1/2 way up below (and perhaps a little to the left) of lichen light right when he dropped them.
If the biner and location match, please email me at brad.hagen@uleth.ca -- and I owe you a beer (at least)!
If the paint, biner and location don't match, then they're obviously someone else's!
Thanks Willis,
Brad Hagen
p.s. any ticks out yet?
