Cameron Lake Road Open

We were lucky enough to get out to Waterton this past weekend.  It was exciting because they just reopened Cameron Lake Road.  We were excited to get out, but equally excited to see what had changed with the flooding.  Not to be disappointed, there were some obvious changes.

I never noticed this flow before.  Now... you can't miss it.

Some spots were more dramatic than other, but you could definitely see the differences.  The last pictures are around Lineham and the berm is quite obvious.

The road itself will need some paving as well and there is a section that is still single lane.  Regardless, it means people can get out to ice climb or ski this year.  I was a little jealous when I saw Tom MacLachlan. and John Verhagen skiing out after a day in at Forum.
